Our Legal Assistants play a vital role in supporting clients and attorneys throughout every stage of the legal
process. They help ensure smooth communication, organized case management, and a positive client experience. Our

Cate Hardwick

Cate Hardwick has been a Legal Assistant with Tehrani Law, LLC since the summer of 2025. She initially joined the team as an intern through the MCPS Summer Rise Program. After graduating from that program, she accepted a position with the firm as a Legal Assistant.

Cate recently graduated from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where she played softball and excelled in photography and ceramics. She will be a freshman at Temple University in the fall of 2026, where she will study Political Science while continuing to assist Tehrani Law. After college, Cate plans to attend law school.

Margaret Lawson

Margaret Lawson has been a Legal Assistant with Tehrani Law, LLC since the fall of 2024, after graduating from Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

During high school, Margaret was highly active on Quince Orchard High School’s swim team and participated in community swim programs. She has also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Margaret enjoys working with children and has spent many years babysitting. Most recently, she worked with the after-school program at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Rockville, Maryland.

Margaret is currently attending Montgomery College to complete her core classes and plans to transfer to the University of Maryland, College Park in the fall of 2026.
