Virginia Tehrani

Virginia Vile Tehrani is the firm’s founder, owner, and Accident Injury Attorney. As the owner and manager, she leads by example, creating a dynamic culture for her team and a caring, comfortable, safe environment for her clients. Mrs. Tehrani is also a dedicated member, leader, and volunteer in her community, especially serving Germantown and Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Virginia uses her 20+ years of experience as a trial attorney and a victim’s advocate to fight for her clients against the insurance companies and the legal system.

Mrs. Tehrani is a former prosecutor and criminal defense attorney who is at ease in the courtroom in front of both judges and juries. While serving as a prosecutor in Newport News, Virginia, Virginia prosecuted high-level cases, including murder cases, rape cases, gang-related cases, and drug and gun charges.

Virginia graduated from the College of William & Mary School of Law in 2005, where she was the President of the National Trial Team, the top-ranked Member of the Moot Court Team, and a Board Member of the William & Mary Law Review. Virginia was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a national honor society recognizing skill in trial advocacy, and she received the Lawrence W. I’Anson Award at graduation, which is presented to a member of each graduating class who in the judgement of the Law School faculty has shown evidence of great professional promise through scholarship, character, and leadership.

While juggling her own law office in Alexandria, Virginia, and her family life, Ms. Tehrani then attended the George Washington School of Law for two years in the evenings. She graduated in 2008 with an L.L.M. (Masters of Law Degree) in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, where she graduated summa cum laude with Highest Honors.

Virginia is licensed to practice law in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C., and since moving to Maryland and focusing on personal injury law, she has received honors and awards for personal injury law as a Super Lawyer Rising Star in Maryland in 2021 and in D.C. in 2020 and 2021. She was also chosen as one of the Top 40 under-40 Attorneys in Maryland for Personal Injury Litigation in 2020.

More than anything, Ms. Tehrani cares for traffic accident victims and uses her personal and legal experiences to fight for justice within the legal system, which is often daunting and hard to understand. Like many of her clients, Virginia has undergone multiple surgeries, months of physical therapy, and significant medical testing and appointments with specialists. She knows how difficult it is to focus on regular life and jobs while trying to get better after suffering injuries from a traffic accident. She cares for her clients and understands them on a deeper level and uses this knowledge and care to fight the system with and for her clients. Virginia’s traffic accident victims are not alone.

When she’s not in the office, you can find Ms. Tehrani attending events and performing community service in Gaithersburg, Maryland and Germantown, Maryland with the Gaithersburg Germantown Upcountry Chamber. Virginia loves to network and be out in her community making connections and friends. When she’s not at work or out in the community, you can find Virginia at home playing with her four dogs, reading a great mystery novel, or baking.
