Rebekah Hatmaker

Attorney

Rebekah Hatmaker is the business manager at Tehrani Law, LLC. As the business manager, she oversees all departments within the firm – finance, client experience, legal assisting, communications, media, marketing, content, human resources, and public relations.

Rebekah graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2001 as valedictorian of the College of Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a minor in secondary education. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in secondary education in 2002 and began her professional career as a high school English and theater teacher.

After four years of teaching, Rebekah pursued an opportunity outside of the field of education and became the office and finance manager of a dental office. While there, she found an acumen for accounting, customer service, and business management and helped the dentist grow his practice from 1,000 patients to 2,500 patients and from gross revenue of $150,000 to gross revenue of $950,000.

After working at the dental office, Rebekah spent a couple of years writing for and learning from Justin Goodbread, a professional with credentials as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), and a Certified Value Growth Advisor (CVGA®). Rebekah ghost-wrote Mr. Goodbread’s first book, The Ultimate Sale: A Financially Simple Guide to Selling a Business for Maximum Proffit, his first 150 blogs under the educational portal Financially Simple, a multi-week course for business owners about strategic planning on Teachable, and multiple documents and worksheets for small business owners that Mr. Goodbread still offers for sale through his company.

With more experience and knowledge under her belt, Rebekah became finance and business manager for a sporting goods store, where she managed a million-dollar inventory and helped increase yearly gross sales from $1 million to $6 million over the course of 3 years. Her successful business management at the retail store attracted the attention of a construction company who then hired her as CFO and COO.  For the past 2 years, Rebekah directed the construction company, during which time she doubled revenue, sales, employees, and subcontractors.

Rebekah is honored to bring her experience in business development, accounting, writing, customer service, and teaching to Tehrani Law, LLC. She loves providing value to a business and helping a business grow its own value. When she is not working, you can find her reading, painting, drawing, or crafting. Rebekah, her husband, and her two boys also love hiking, swimming, camping, and tubing.
